In this blog: We asked people if they would pay for super fast Model S battery swap and here's the feedback.

Once we heard that Tesla Motors is going to try the battery swap opiton for real we wanted to know what people think about it. Knowing it will cost "slightly less than a full tank of gasoline for a premium sedan" and will take just 90 seconds, the poll went online...

In this blog: More orders coming so at least 15 or 20 Model S will cruise around Dobrich and the region starting 2015.

"Can you help me order Tesla Model S?" asks me a guy from Dobrich back in May 2014 on the phone. "Need some information and ordering process assistance," adds Russi once we quickly introduce ourselves. We helped him, naturally, but if we only knew what's going to happen...

In this blog: The newest EV in Bulgaria is the first ever BMW i3 in the country.

BMW i3 is here. In Bulgaria. Not for a spin or two, but to stay. You can see it on the streets around Sofia, parked at the charging station in front of Societe Generale's headquarters or... in this blog!

It's great news providing sales are yet to start officially in Bulgaria. This will happen for sure and we're here to support it every way we can. But it's also great to have the chance to see and feel the car right now (after a couple of short tests in Amsterdam and Munich) and share the happy owner's story with you. The car belongs to Martin Zaimov – one of the Bulgarian Electric Vehicle Association' (BAEPS) founders, a vivid EV advocate, dreamer and reformer. We're friends with Martin for years and also members of BAEPS. Here we go...

In this blog: Tesla added new upcoming Supercharger locations in Eastern Europe on Aug 25, 2014.

"Tesla just updated their Supercharger map and now it shows couple of stations in Bulgaria in 2015," pops up around 1 am on August 26 in our forum. Where, I ask, I checked it out yesterday and there was nothing like that? "There's a new 2015 tab now and it shows some stations coming to Eastern Europe next year," came the short answer...

In this blog: Tesla Motors doesn't owe me anything, but does so much for me.

Stocks, financial results, missed expectations, predictions... Everybody's talking about it. They are talking at Tesla Motors as well (think the company's "hero" Elon Musk), but they are also doing something very important – giving. They are costantly expanding their (or shall we say ours) Supercharger network...

In this blog: By donating BMW i3 to eCars.bg you become part of an amazing new EV campaign in Bulgaria.

In this blog: A new electric bus is now part of the Sofia's public transport – charges in a couple of minutes and gets around the city.

Listening to how people talk about the new electric bus, I quickly realized there's something wrong associated with media titles like "For the first time in Europe an electric bus is operating in Sofia". We know media... but electric buses are hardly new, and what sets the one in Sofia apart is that it does not have a battery, but an ultracapacitor module...
